Steps to Get IB Affiliation

Consideration (0-30 days)

  • Start Application: Draft your application for the next step.

Request for Candidacy (30-60 days)

  • Pay Fee: Submit the application fee.

  • Submit Application: Send your full application to the IB.

IB Decision (60-90 Days)

  • Approval: If your application is strong, you become a Candidate School.

Candidacy Phase (1 Year)

  • Pay Fees: Fees cover support services from the IB.

  • Trial Teaching: Start implementing the IB program for a year.

  • Consultancy: You get a dedicated IB consultant to guide you.

  • Staff Training: All teachers working with the IB program must take IB-specific training.

Authorization Phase

  • Apply for Authorization: Submit the formal application.

  • Verification Visit: IB inspectors visit to ensure your school is ready.
